A tiny fan built inside of the housing keeps it cool as does the heavy finned aluminum housing. Screws into a standard edison type socket like you can find at any home improvement store.

EvoSlim Aluminum Striplight - 4 Models

Brand New "EvoSlim" striplight, for every 12" in length you get 6 - 2 watt Bridgelux LED's with 90 degree lens angle. These all new black model features 12 watts per 12" , each of them have a 6 foot matching black quick connect lead and a 6 foot power cord includes an external power supply.

This light is made with a finned aluminum housing to reduce heat and is fanless for silent operation.

I just put my unit over the tank and after turning it on I had a big 'wow'. Wow as is the corals really pop- this is bluer than my XM20K by far. I like this look, it makes my other 20K bulbs look rather bland. I like the ability to control white & blues separately.
